Hakone Yumoto is the most popular hot springs resort area in the region.
To get there:
Take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Odawara to Yumoto Station. Most of the best hot springs are near the station.

It`s a very popular outdoor bath. Located behind Yumoto Station.
Ten-zan Notemburo
Open 9AM-11PM
There are many indoor and outdoor baths. To get to them, take the free shuttle bus from the bridge near Hakone Yumoto Station.
This whole area is part of a national park, not too far from Tokyo. It is famous for its beauty, hot springs, and the many interesting volcanic things you can see and do. It is a great break from Tokyo! Ten-zan Notemburo
Hakone Yuryo Hot Spring – the Real Japan
Hakone Yuryo Hot Spring is a taste of the real Japan. Look no further! Just take a train from Odawara to Hakone Yumoto. It is open from 10am-9pm. Swimsuits are not permitted and neither are tattoos at this particular hot spring. There is no mixed bathing for children over 10 years of age and up. Hakone Yuryo Hot Spring
About Hakone Yumoto
Hakone Yumoto is near the entrance to the whole Hakone National Park area. It is the hub from which everything happens. There are bars, hotels, restaurants, guest houses, and of course many hot springs. You can take trains and buses here, to and from Odawara and to and from areas deeper into the national park.
Yumoto has a long history of hot springs and the water is of the highest quality. There are many hot springs baths and inns in the town. There are more hot springs throughout Hakone National Park, in the various mountain areas and even near Lake Ashi.
